Black Forest Petits Recipe

Ingredients

  • 12 cherries and 6 Tbsp. smooth filling from canned light cherry pie filling, divided
  • 12 Peek Freans Lifestyle Selections Dark Chocolate with a hint of Cherry
  • 3/4 cup thawed Cool Whip Light Whipped Topping
  • 1 oz. semi-sweet baking chocolate, shaved

Instructions

  • Remove  cherries from pie filling; set aside.
  • Spoon  remaining pie filling onto cookies.
  • Top  with Cool Whip, chocolate and cherries.

Recipe Tips

NoteRefrigerate remaining canned cherry pie filling in airtight container up to 2 weeks. Spoon into mini tart shells before baking as directed on tart shell package. Or, heat filling and spoon over scoops of your favourite flavour of ice cream.
